Hi, I'm Celeste Stoney—a homeschooling mother of four, a wife since 2011, and the founder of Tiny Roots, a private in-home early learning and homeschool enrichment program for young children.
Our family lives in a quiet cul-de-sac in Peachtree City, Georgia, where calm, connection, and curiosity are part of our daily rhythm. Our home is kept exceptionally clean using only natural, non-toxic products, providing an allergy-friendly environment that supports children’s health and well-being.
In addition to Tiny Roots, my husband and I are the proud co-owners of Peachtree City Cart Tours and Wonderworld Photography, where we host the beloved Southern Santa Experience—a magical holiday tradition for local families. As a professional photographer, I also gift each of our Tiny Roots families complimentary First Day of School and Graduation portraits, capturing milestones you'll cherish forever.
My heart has always been in homeschooling. When my first son was born, the idea of leaving him in a large, unfamiliar setting with people he didn’t know just didn’t sit right. I didn’t want my child to have to "adjust" to feeling afraid—I wanted him to begin his learning journey in a place where he felt safe, supported, and known. That moment inspired everything Tiny Roots has become.
I studied early childhood education in college and brought my love of storytelling, music, and creativity into my work as a professional singer-songwriter and educator. I opened my first homeschool enrichment program—Future Focused Homeschool—in California, where it quickly became a trusted space for like-minded families. When we moved to Georgia during the pandemic, I longed to recreate that same sense of warmth and connection. After exploring local co-ops and finding they didn’t reflect the heart of what I’d previously built, I knew it was time to begin again—and so, Tiny Roots was born.
This program is intentionally small, with just six children per session, ensuring meaningful one-on-one time and a calm, personalized environment. My husband Ray, who works in the entertainment industry and shares in our homeschooling journey, helps care for our older children while I focus on the younger two and our Tiny Roots learners. We are both CPR-certified and background-checked for your peace of mind.
Tiny Roots blends the best of Montessori (child-led learning, practical life skills, natural tones), Waldorf (storytelling, nature, seasonal rhythm), and traditional academics (early math, literacy, science, art, and geography). We garden, explore, create, and follow a peaceful rhythm that supports the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.
I deeply value attachment parenting and always welcome families to stay during our sessions—whether to observe, work in our home office, or simply enjoy knowing their child is just steps away. I also offer homeschool consulting and host a monthly Parents’ Corner, where we connect over refreshments and discuss early learning topics to support your journey at home.
Tiny Roots is more than a homeschool program—it’s a warm, intentional learning community where children grow in confidence and wonder, and families feel truly supported every step of the way.
Warmly,
Celeste Stoney
